Getting here
By car
From the M25: go to junction 5 and take the A21 towards Sevenoaks and Hastings. Carry on for about 24 miles until you get to the traffic lights at Flimwell. Now turn left on the A268 towards Rye and go through Hawkhurst and Sandhurst, then, about 8 miles from Flimwell, you are here.
From Dover or the Channel Tunnel: take the A20/M20 towards London, get off at junction 9 and follow the A28 to Tenterden, then continue on the A28 through Rolvenden until you get to a T-junction with A268 at the top of a hill. Turn left and you are in Newenden already!
By public transport
Not so easy! Take a train from Charing Cross/Waterloo East/Cannon Street/London Bridge either on the Hastings line to Etchingham or on the Ashford line to Staplehurst. Then you will need a taxi from there to Newenden - about 9 miles.
Alternatively, you could take the train to Hastings and hope to catch bus 340 or 341 to Newenden. Or you could go to Ashford and catch bus 400 (PDF file) to Tenterden and get a 340 from there.
